THE HILLS ARE ALIVE: Yves Saint Laurent took Claudia Schiffer up to the iconic Hollywood hills in Los Angeles for its spring advertising campaign, positioning the supermodel, clad in a tuxedo jacket, in front of the big “Y.” Slated to break in February fashion magazines, the campaign was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin under the direction of YSL creative director Stefano Pilati. Schiffer’s “Y’s up” pose is slated for the cover of YSL’s manifesto, the French fashion house’s seasonal newspaper-style advertising flyer, which is to be handed out next Valentine’s Day. (WWD)
